Izidora's dam, Senorita/Sophia, competed in the 1.50m jumping divisions with Femke Courchaine. She is the dam of the late CWHBA Approved stallion Whirlwind and foal futurity winner - Aflame sired by Sandstorm, who also won the 5 year olds at Anderson Ranch in 2010. Senorita's half brother Don Porfirio sired by Indoctro represented Brazil in show jumping at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Izidora's sire, Quasimodo Z jumped at Grand Prix level with Morten Djupvic.

In 2016, Kanndarco completed his 14-day performance test in Schlieckau and was the jumping Champion of his age group with a score of 9.5. His sire Kannan was internationally successful with Francois Mathy Jun and Michel Hécard. Kannan has produced over 200 international show jumping horses, including the Olympic Champion Nino des Buissonets with Steve Guerdat (SUI).
